Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil is steam distilled from the twigs and leaves of the lemon-scented gum eucalyptus plant, also known as Eucalyptus citriodora or Corymbia citriodora. This essential oil is commonly prized for its ability to repel certain insect pests such as mosquitos and flies.
A lesser-known use of lemon eucalyptus oil is as a treatment for toenail fungus when mixed with camphor and menthol. Lemon eucalyptus mixes well with lavandin and peppermint essential oils.
